Hello everyone, I would like to share the method I used to get my USB 3.0 ports working. By no means am I a hackintosh expert, in fact I have no clue what the script even means half the time. There are guides out there on how to create one manually, and are excellent, but they had me confused.
This guide on YouTube was an excellent for enabling and disabling all the ports I needed to get my machine up and running. Here is the link to the script as well. I don't own either of these resources, I'm just sharing them.
I do urge people to read the end of the README.md file inside of the folder you must download. There are two ways of applying the USB map, and the method in the tutorial might not work for you computer (as it didn't with mine). If his way doesn't work, follow the directions of the developer for the other method.
I also feel like it's worthy to mention if you have a USB Bluetooth adapter (such as the IOGear one), this will possibly fix any issues of the OS not detecting the adapter.
I hope this post helps with any beginners like myself who just simply want their machine to work : )
