Hackintosh wifi question

I am presently using ethernet but would like to use wifi. Therefore, I purchased a MacBook wifi card, and I purchased this adapter: https://www.ebay.com/i/283111724041?chn=ps

My motherboard is an MSI Z370 (MSI Z370 GAMING PRO CARBON AC LGA 1151 (300 Series) Intel Z370 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard).

If I simply plug in the new wifi card via the adapter, without disabling the build-in wifi card that comes with the motherboard, will this create issues? Or can I simply plug in the new one and it'll work?
