I recently did a hackintosh for Mojave on my 8700k using the Intel iGPU per the Vanilla guide. I’ve noticed through Intel Power Gadget that my clock speed never boosts past 4.3 GHz even when stressing it during an MD simulation. Is this due to a power management issue attributed to the iMac 18,1 smbios? If it’s the smbios, has anyone tried the 19,x smbios for an 8700k? Or is there some other fix to get the proper boost clock?
