Hi all; I wanted to share some success on my build and also answer any questions I can about the process.
I'm a video producer / film guy by trade who uses Adobe products and some basic neural animation.
Since I need working CUDA and such for the above, I have to stick with High Sierra for now.
My first Hackintosh was about 2.5 years ago: i7 6700k, UD5 TH, 64gb sport ram, 980TI, pcie wifi card, running off a Samsung SSD in a Corsair case. Took me 3 days of reading to get back in the game.

If anyone has a moment to help out with the last few questions:
All my ports are limited to USB 2.0 speeds at around 30 MB/s transfer speed.
This is the only major question I have, would love some help!
I have USBmap and tried to follow instructions importing a pre-made USB.plist found in the above guide for this motherboard, transferring the output kext to my EFI, and also transferring the SSDT-UIAC.aml to the EFI. Would this have solved it? Am I missing something? Best way to figure this out or start fresh and test USB speeds?
Any walkthrough or troubleshooting method explained in layman's terms would be extremely helpful!!!

iGPU in headless?
What's headless? I've heard it refer to settings that affect transition animations on dock, etc.
Further,How do I tell what my internal GPU is up to, and best way to set this up on High Sierra? I'm assuming if internal and external GPU are both processing, renders would be faster in adobe products?

About this mac doesn't recognize the cpu. That's normal, aye?
Fan Speed and temps
I'm using "HW Monitor" to view temps. Anyone have a suggestion for a fan speed app for high sierra?

I turned this off because not doing anything with virtual devices, any thoughts?
