I upgraded it last year to a 4TB Crucial SSD and 16GB of RAM, also by Crucial. Have already made a Time Machine backup of the system in its present state in case anything goes awry. I have heard that there are problems with OCLP latest version 1.4.3 and Sonoma 14.4.1, and some users recommend staying on earlier macOS to avoid potential headaches or conflicts. For this model and these specifications, which is the best macOS I should try to upgrade to, presumably while running OCLP 1.4.2? Sonoma seems too risky, should I go with Big Sur or Monterey, or will it handle Ventura?
