Power keeps being drained when off

Hi, I have a laptop where the power is drained when shut down. It didn't happen when I was in Monterey. Running Sonoma 14.4.1. Any thoughts?

15in 2016 MBP 13,3, Quad-Core Intel Core i7, SYstem Firmware: 526.0.0.0.0. OS Loader Version: 580-1678.

I know that this machine has the hinge problem that makes the bottom of the screen streaky, but I wouldn't think that's making it drain power when shut off.
