P-State Stepper Error 18 at step 29 in context 2 on CPU 0

Hello,

I recently installed MacOS El Capitan on my laptop, then upgraded to Sierra. Now, I am trying to upgrade to High Sierra (a lot of software doesn't work on Sierra), but I received the attached panic when trying to upgrade. Here is my information:

CPU: Intel Core i7-3667U GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000 RAM: 8GB Motherboard/Laptop model: Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, 1st Gen (34xx) Audio Codec: ALC269VC (ALC3202) Ethernet Card: N/A Wifi/BT Card: Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205S What guide/tool followed: Vanilla OpenCore install guide What files/config I am using: I'm not sure how to say this without breaking the not sharing EFI config rule. I have tried enabling NormalizeHeaders as per the OpenCore troubleshooting section, but that didn't help.
