I am trying to upgrade my Intel NUC from Mac OS Catalina to Big Sur.
SPECS:
- CPU: Intel Core i3-8109U
- GPU: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655
- RAM: 8x2 GB 2400MHz
- Intel Nuc Model Number: NUC8i3BEK
Config/Files:
Clover Version: 2.5k rev 5101
What has happened:
I have download Big Sur from the app store and ran the installisation guide, which when I reboot I select the install OS opition, I see the apple logo then the loading bar for a split second then the computer reboots.
What I have tried:
I first updated my clover to the lastest version but when I reboot I get the following error message:
There are problems in plist '\EFI\CLOVER\config.plist'
Warning: Unknown key '/ACPI/DSDT/DropOEM_DSM:14' Skipped.
Warning: Unknown key '/GUI/Custom/Entries[0]/Ignore:266' Skipped.
Warning: Unknown key '/GUI/Custom/Entries[1]/Ignore:280' Skipped.
Use CloverConfigPlistValidator or look in the log
When I try to boot into MAC OS the computer just restarts and I can only boot back when I use a clover USB bootable drive.
I believe the problem is with my config.plist or maybe some kexts I am missing for Big Sur.
Any help would be greatly appricated :).
