How can hackintosh exactly works with a disabled EC?

Hello, there is something that makes me curious.. according to dortania's guides when we use a PC and not laptop we totally disable EC device in macOS by using SSDT patch as EC isn't compatible with AppleACPIEC driver but when that happens who can play the embedded controller's role? i mean EC is responsible for many things including even shutdown and many other things according to wikipedia... there is an EC for real macs which is of course compatible with AppleACPIEC driver because it belongs to apple so EC do it's work in real apple devices, how can easily disabling it fix compatible issues with apple drivers in hackintosh devices without making other troubles as it loses it's function under macOS?
