Laptop shutdowns randomly when battery is less than 40%, works fine when plugged in.

I'm new to the hackintosh world, installed Catalina on Dell E5470, everything is working fine but not the battery. I'm using clover and the kext I'm using for battery is ACPIBatteryManager.kext. Tried SMCBatteryManager.kext but the battery indicator doesn't show up with it. I don't think that the battery needs to be replaced, to confirm it, I booted into Linux and used it until the battery drained out.
