If my monitors are physically plugged into an incompatible GPU (NVIDIA) can I power the displays using the iGPU?

If my expectation is to dual boot Windows and MacOS and I have two monitors, both physically plugged into two Display Ports on the nvidia (2xxx series) card.

I'd prefer not to unplug the monitors every time I want to switch OSes, is it possible to use hardware acceleration on the iGPU when the monitors are plugged into the ports on the dedicated card?
