Hey everyone! Had a quick question. I have this odd glitch with my machine in where if I press the brightness up OR down key, even just a quick press, the adjuster will stay on the screen and: -if I press brightness up it will automatically take it all the way bright (it will act like I am repeatedly pressing it very fast even though I press it ONCE very quickly) and get stuck like I am still pressing it (seen in picture) - pressing brightness down does nothing at this point either. The indicator thinks im still pressing up. -and If i press brightness down, well it will turn my screen off! (And pressing brightness up doesn't make it bright; it gets stuck like the brightness up I assume. again but the PC is still on/I can click stuff and hear noises, its just like my brightness is stuck down.) I can confirm all keys worked fine on windows (3 days ago when I still had it installed.) I will post my config below. I generated my DSDT's from the Vanilla guide and make my own where I could. The bug exists across Big Sur and Catalina.
