I had a fully functional 10.15.5 opencore installation on an external ssd. I decided to try and raise my refresh rate since I have a 144hz monitor. The screen turned black and won’t come back. I tried adding -x to boot args with no luck. Screen stays black for recovery partition too.
Using a 9600k with dGPU disabled. Msi b360i.
Any ideas on how to recover? I’m weary of doing a whole new installation, because I’m terrified of activating iservices again. Is there a way to externally change the resolution from another os? This is the only displayport monitor I own and that’s the only video out on my mobo.
I know it’s a long shot, but I’m hoping someone can help. Thank you.
