[TIP] If you entered in a boot loop after installing Hackintosh (macOS 10.x)

Probably you entered in a boot loop while trying to install Hackintosh from a previous state. Maybe you encountered with a problem in macOS and decided to re-install it. Well, this tip is for you.

  1. Launch the installation
  2. Go to Utilities (bottom up of the screen).
  3. Open Disk Utility.
  4. Select “View all disks” from the icon next to the first disk.
  5. Erase the disk you want to install Hackintosh in (CAREFUL, NOT THE PARTITION, THE DISK).

5.1. If you erase the partition, UEFI will stay there from the previous OS. If you want to erase everything, pick the disk. 6. Erase it as macOS Plus (with registry). You can name it as you want it.

BEFORE CONTINUE!

If you’re installing macOS Mojave on it and you encountered with a problem saying something related to packages of the installation, before installing it, open a Terminal window from the top menú on Utilities. Once you opened it, write (without quotes): “date 0328015315”. Click enter/return. Close Terminal and continue with the installation.

This cost me a lot of headaches, without knowing how to solve it, but now I know how, I’m sharing with you the method to.

I hope this helps somebody who has this problem. Cheers!
