MacOS via virtualization on linux

Greetings,

I've searched the wiki for this, but was unable to find an answer to, because as I understand, the wiki is dedicated to bare metal setups of hackintosh, but the hardware that I own is not at all on the list of compatible. So I wanted to go with virtulization on linux, because most of the guides that resort to virtualization use linux and i just use linux as my daily driver OS. Most of the guides are pretty clear and understandable, but I wasn't able to find any info of whether I could achieve the setup with only a single gpu, because I obviously only have one.

I'm running arch and a wm, and I thought that by not starting up the wm and thus xorg after booting up, this shouldn't require a second gpu. So my question is could this be achieve with a single gpu, what would be the step to do this? A link to a guide maybe would be much appreciated...

If you feel that this doesn't belong in this subreddit, then feel free to point me to another subreddit, where this would be more appropriate, or maybe I just missed the secton of the wiki that covers this... (btw could macos mess up my linux installation? I mean besides the obvious stuff like bootloader setup which will be obvously messed up)

thanks in advance
