How to troubleshoot frozen loading-bar? [-v flag used]

I have 10.15 installed [but never got to first boot]. When the OS no longer shows the terminal output from the -v flag and goes to the loading bar with the apple, how does one troubleshoot what the problem is? Sometimes I see the mouse [rarely] sometimes I dont ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. It likes to freeze at 9.2% (I measured the progress bar in mm LOL)

(Funny side story, I think it was luck me getting to the installer GUI, because I can never get back there again ever after replicating my steps. I seem to be struggling with reboot issues. Each coldboot nets a 25% success rate to get past a ACPI crash. I followed the guide from https://hackintosh.gitbook.io, found others with similar setups and isn't my first hackintosh. But man this machine will be my early grave :P.)
