Noob Question: How to properly reboot with stuck ioconsoleusers

Doing a vanilla install of Mojave 10.4.5 and stuck in ioconsoleusers. Can I just cut power and restart the installation process once I make changes to my usb? Or do I need to erase and reformat the hard drive on my hackintosh?

My error is as follows:

IOConsoleUsers: time(0) 0->0, lin 0, llk 1

IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0
