Hackintosh on a macbook ?

Ok I know this is weird, but this is probably the only place I can ask this. I live in China and here they have huge 2nd hand/broken/sparepart pc and laptop markets. Imagine a street vegetable market just for pc. Strolling through one yesterday i saw a 2912 macbook, all working except :

  • hard drive is busted (clicking sound) and starts one time out of 4

  • hard drive has windows 7 installed on it (wut?)

  • 4 GB Ram

  • a couple keys missing

  • needs a new power cord

After bargaining the guy is willing to let it go for some 60$. I want it. I calculated the spareparts to put it back in shape as an extra 40-50$.

Keys are an easy fix and I am thinking i can get an original used mac hard drive (or maybe a SSD?) for the laptop. Since i would get a MacBook without a usable hard drive or OS I am thinking of installing Hackintosh on it.

So here come the noob questions :

  • Where can I find good instructions to do it? Specific for this model I mean. I looked hackintosh.com and cannot figure it out
  • Which version you guys recommend ?
  • What about drivers ?
  • can I install rEFInd on it ?
  • what about software I might want to install ?

Thank you guys in advance for the replies
