Best way to clone macos iinstall?

I currently have my hackintosh set up exactly how I want with everything working.

I want to create a backup of my current install to an SSD I have laying around (system files only, not really necessary to backup my documents like photos etc because I use icloud backup). What would be the best way to go about this?
