I am in the process of making a new computer for myself and recently I stumbled upon this video.

Since I am not so adept to the concept of Hackintoshes and how it works, I would like to know if this is really possible and can a layman like me who has little to no knowledge about it make one?
What I do understand is Apple configures its MacOs for a specific set of hardware and primarily only those combinations work. Some people have come up with ways to fit in new pieces of hardware by manipulating the software I believe but I don't have any knowledge about that.
Is the way this video teaches us to make a Hackintosh reliable? Will I get a stable system which updates seamlessly and is less of a stress than typical Hackintoshes we see every day. I want a stable computer so should I go this route?
