CPU: Intel Core i3-8130U
GPU: Intel UHD 620
RAM: 4GB
HDD: 1TB HDD (plan on replacing with an SSD, HDD is really slow)
DISPLAY: 1366x768
WIFI: Qualcomm Atheros (Replacement card is on the way so I can use WIFI and Bluetooth)
I posted a thread yesterday describing my laptop's hardware and requesting help, but after staying up far later than I really should have, I got it all working!
There was a few caveats I would like to point out however:
- The trackpad situation is awful with the same model of computer having multiple different types of touchpad from different manufacturers.
- I don't have the USB-C port injected yet because I had no devices to test it.
I plan on writing a guide soon, so other people with this laptop model can get their own Hackintosh up and running.
