I am currently running on a fairly old system, Gigabyte z68xp-ud4 with if-2500k, Radeon 6870 1 gb. This has been ok for what I use it for but I can't use Mojave due to the video card not being supported anymore. I found a pretty decent deal for a RX 580 8gb for about $250 cad. I know its compatible and I am just looking for a second opinion if anyone thinks this is a decent upgrade. I will eventually switch out the MOBO and processor but not yet. Opinions welcome.
