I Hacked an HP Pavilion Power laptop and it seems to be running fine. My only issue is with the built-in GTX 1050. I need to be able to use an external monitor, but cannot because the HDMI port is wired directly to the Nvidia card.
Is there a good USB to DisplayPort video card that will do 1440p @ 60Hz? I’ve never used one before and I’m also curious about input lag. I like watching movies and playing old emulated games on my 27” monitor.
