Disclaimer: I am pretty new to all of this and I have limited knowledge about Hackintosh in general and even less knowledge about OpenCore. I tried following every resources I could find online but i still cannot resolve this issue.
Hi everyone,
So I finally was able to complete installation of Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina on my Intel based laptop (Lenovo L540, i5-4200M, 8GB of Ram). I followed the official OpenCore guide and did every recommendation for Intel processors (Haswell). I did every BIOS settings except DVMT Pre-Allocated(iGPU Memory) since my BIOS doesn't have the option to do so. After failing to get results I followed this guide for Intel HD graphics: https://github.com/acidanthera/WhateverGreen/blob/master/Manual/FAQ.IntelHD.en.md. I proceeded to try every Framebuffer this guide gives but still have the same problem.
I'm pretty sure you need more info than that to help me but i would not know what to give you more. Please feel free to ask me.
