Do I need to update OC to run Big Sur?

So basicly im running latest version of Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina with OpenCore version 0.5.9

Can i upgrade my OS to Big Sur without upgrading OpenCore?if no- why not?

i remember stumbling upon something about Big Sur and the diffrent settings one needs in the config.plist for it to run.

My specs for those wondering:

• i7-9700k
• asus z370-f
• 16gb corsair dominator 3200mhz
• GTX 3060ti (disabled with SSDT)Radeon HD 7850
