VMware upgrade from Mojave to Catalina issue

Hey guys, I have Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave running on VMware workshop pro 15.0.4. I am trying to upgrade to Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina through the app store. When the system reboots after downloading to upgrade it hangs at the Apple logo. Any ideas how to fix this? I already have iMessage and FaceTime working so I don't really want to make a new VM from a Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina iso. Thanks for any insight or ideas!
