I have successfully installed mac OS sequoia on my 2011 11" macbook air with 2GB of ram.

As some might know even opencore legacy patcher's website says that versions newer than mac OS 14 sonoma can't be installed on macs with 2GB of ram as a minimum of 3 is required but it turns out this is not entirely true as I didn't even need to disk swap. https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/MODELS.html

To bypass this what I did was to install mac OS ventura first and change the smbios to be a macbook air 9,1 (2020 model I believe) and it was able to update to mac OS sequoia using system preferences just fine here is a screenshot.
