![]() | As some might know even opencore legacy patcher's website says that versions newer than mac OS 14 sonoma can't be installed on macs with 2GB of ram as a minimum of 3 is required but it turns out this is not entirely true as I didn't even need to disk swap. https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/MODELS.html To bypass this what I did was to install mac OS ventura first and change the smbios to be a macbook air 9,1 (2020 model I believe) and it was able to update to mac OS sequoia using system preferences just fine here is a screenshot.
