Been seeing more and more Ryzen systems here. After some work, and help from the AMD discord, here we go. My first AMD machine, first SFF case.

Gathered kexts on Nooted guide, then followed Dortania setup guide.

Thanks to all the developers, you guys are amazing

Single disk Windows and MacOS

Just posing for a photo - not how it looks normally.

It's rather cramped in here. N.B. you do not see any cables, repeat, you do not see any cables.

My first hack 10400F RX580 on Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave + my fifth hack 5700G on Ventura.

What works?

  • iGPU graphics acceleration
  • ethernet, wifi, bluetooth
  • Sleep & shutdown
  • All USB ports
  • HDMI & DP

Not tested

  • DRM
  • iServices
  • many more

I'll be adding an SSD for more storage. Might also consider a graphics card should the need want arise, although the APU should be mighty sufficient for now, thanks NootedRed.

The case USB-C is without switch (note for USB map). Anyway, I learnt that there was no need to include RGB headers on the USB map, I was told this information is included somewhere on the guide.

Case has a small footprint, which is really neat. Cable management is a challenge, but it's hidden when the covers are on.
