I have an old Mavericks drive I'd like to boot on my x299 computer. Any way?

Hello! This Mavericks SSD ran great on my old x79 motherboard with chameleon. I have a solid Mojave Clover system on my x299 now. I'd like to be able to boot the old drive on the new system as there was some software on it that is no longer supported in the newer OS. I heard mavericks doesn't support the newer hardware, but people have done workarounds using opencore. But it looks like the instructions I see are just for new installations. Are there any instructions to be able to boot an old drive off a USB bootloader on a newer system?

Thank you!
