Can't boot with SMCBatteryManager after replacing battery

Hello,

I've been using my Acer Aspire E5-573G on Big Sur 11.6 for a couple of days now, and I have just received a replacement battery today.

After replacing the old battery in the laptop, the progress bar on boot would just stall in the middle and never continue. I was able to boot without the battery, plugged in.

After some troubleshooting, disabling SMCBatteryManager seems to have fixed the issue. Without this kext though, I won't have a way to see how much battery I have etc, so how could I resolve this? Perhaps an alternative?

I already have my SSDTs set up, perhaps I need to recreate them? I can't find any kernel panics in the console.

* Hardware:

CPU: Intel i5-4210U

GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4400, nVidia GPU turned off

RAM: 8GB DDR3

Motherboard/Laptop model: Acer Aspire E5-573G

* What guide/tool I followed:

Dortania's guide

* What files/config I am using:

Folder structure, config.plist, EssentialsList (the ReservedMemory error in ocvalidate isn't the culprit), OpenCore log

Thank you very much.
