I've got a 2017 iMac (iMac18,3), and feel frustrated that Apple appear to have limited Airplay to Mac to only newer Mac's for little reason. I came across a GitHub project called FeatureUnlock (https://github.com/acidanthera/FeatureUnlock/) and wondered how to install this on a genuine Mac? I attempted to use Hackintool to load Lilu into /Library/Extensions, but this resulted in kernel panics upon boot.
Do I need to go through the process of using OpenCore Legacy Patcher or is there a better way considering Monterey is supported on my iMac, just this one feature isn't?
