iMessage in macOS Big Sur (11.1)

Hi there, I’ve been using iMessage on other Apple devices for quite a long time and now wanted to use it on my hack, too. I had already tried this a few months ago (back then on Catalina) and it gave me a Customer Code and told me to call Apple Support. Back then I was kinda afraid to call Apple Support and first tried everything else I could find on the internet (including new smbios etc.), but I always kept getting a customer code. Now on Big Sur I decided to try it again, and now I’m not even getting a “popup” with a Customer Code (instead the login prompt just reappears after a few seconds, after showing my conversations). When running the Messages app from the terminal, however, the exact same error and customer code is printed. I hence decided to finally call Apple Support who at some point confirmed that my “iMac” must somehow have gotten blocked and said they unblocked it using the Customer Code and that it could take up to 24 hours until I should be able to login again. Now - about 28 hours later - I’m still getting the exact same error and customer code. Has anyone ever experienced something like this before? Should I just call Apple Support again, or could this, for example, be related to changes in BigSur? Thanks in advance!
