Is there a way to get Mac OS without a Mac?

So I am considering building a hackintosh, but I wasn’t really thinking about it last week when I sold my MacBook and my dumb ass never got a copy of Mac OS on a thumb drive before I sold it.

I have an external dvd drive I can plug into the computer to install the disc.
