Upgrading WiFi / BT for EliteBook 9470m for AirDrop

Im running (with satisfaction) Mojave 10.14.6 on a HP EliteBook 9470m.

i solved the wifi issue with a Asus usb-ac53 nano dongle, it is working like a charm both with official drivers and with Wireless-USB-Adapter drivers (https://github.com/chris1111/Wireless-USB-Adapter)

Bluetooth is working with my integrated card (Intel Centrino Advanced N-6235), this mean i can connect to iphone (iphone shows 'linked' icon)

iMessage, Facetime, answer call on Mac, everything is working as expected

the only thing im missing is AirDrop (i dont care a lot about Handoff and Continuity, even if the 'take photo in iphone' could be usefule, now it works only with cable connection)

I tried a lot of way (using commands, rebooting, and so on), and if i try to access Airdrop directly i got the following message " "the operation can't be completed because the item can't be found"

im starting to think this is a wifi + bt related problem, so i'm willing to add a new wifi card

any experience with it? i need a mini pci card with two antennas (the 'official' mac card do not fit my space in laptop) with the little configuration possible (my hackintosh is running really smooth, i dont want to mess with it)

Thank you!
