In the Big Sur section of the Dortania guide, a few things are mentioned as additional steps necessary to get Big Sur going: - First is the addition of an NVRAM variable: Is this still needed (seeing that the boot-args detailed below are all removed if I use latest versions for those kexts)? - Some SATA controllers are said to have been dropped as of Big Sur, but which ones? I have a Tongfang GK7CN6S (Overpowered 17+) laptop, the motherboard chipset is the Intel HM370, but I don't know if it's relevant. Do I have to do the fix mentioned for my hardware?
