Can't see macOS partitions (OpenCore)

Can't see macOS partitions (OpenCore)

So i'm trying to install vanilla catalina (full install 8 gb) using dortania opencore guide on my 4th gen Haswell Dell Inspiron 15 3542 Laptop. Everything was alright till booting (ie, actual installation of macOS) as the guide suggested i wiped the SATA hard-drive with Disk Utility with GUID partition Scheme and APFS as suggested by the same guide (this). i've triple checked my config.plist file. and YES i've followed BIOS settings suggested by the guide and also checked with the troubleshooting guide i have the proper HfsPlus file too. i've done slow geek sanity checker too

the error i get is: "Your Mac needs firmware update in order to install to this volume. please select a Mac OS Extended (Journaled Volume Instead) - And yes i've formatted and done that too! the partition isn't visible (See the images)

the partition isn't visible

then i got another error "This Mac can only install macOS on APFS-formatted drives. Please use Disk Utility to reformat as APFS". - same issue the partition isn't visible (See the images)

the partition isn't visible

my config.plist file - config.plist file

also i've followed chris titus youtube video (although his video shows desktop guide, i followed only parts which needed and followed dedicated intel haswell laptop guide from dortania opencore guide)

any help would be appreciated! :)
