I currently have a system with Radeon GPU and Onboard graphics (UHD630) and it can that dual boot into Win10 and Catalina successfully. However, I am now considering replacing the Radeon card with nvidia due to noise and heat issues with Radeon. I am aware that macOS no longer supports newer version of nvidia cards.
Question
- Can i use onboard Graphics (UHD 630) in hackintosh without unplugging the GPU from the MOBO?
- Am i able to utilise nvidia card for Compute operation (instead of Graphics) in hackintosh to speed up video editing operations (premierre, da vinci resolve) , while continue to plug my monitor into the onboard graphics? I see that CUDA drivers continues to be supported in mac OS.
