Increased power consumption and processing speed after sleep

Hi all

I have recently completed an OpenCore (0.6.0) install on a Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 6 following this guide.

I have noticed that after waking the computer from sleep, the power and processor frequency is significantly increased when compared to first boot. The issue is addressed by rebooting.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Is there a solution available?
