Hi, I was wondering if OpenCore or any other bootloader would work on a real mac. I'm trying to do something to change my CPU clock (i have the i7 with 4.0GHz turbo boost in my 2015 MBP, it throttles way too easy). I use throttlestop under bootcamp to drop to 2.4GHz and everything is very stable for me - I want to do the same on macOS.
Turbo boost disabling and undervolting don't do anything for me - I've already tried everything. Even made a kext to change MSR registers that under windows would change CPU frequencies and nothing is working! I am out of ideas.
Please help me out :(
