Brightness control on an MSI laptop

I've got an MSI GF63-8RD and what I would like to do is to enable brightness control by pressing its specific combinations (Fn+Up arrow for increasing the brightness and Fn+Down arrow for decreasing the brightness). The problem is, when I try to set the specific shortcuts in the System Preferences, it detects only my Up and Down arrows, without adding the Fn key to the shorcuts. Given the fact that the volume controls (Fn+Left for turning down the volume, Fn+Right for turning up the volume and Fn+End for muting the audio) are working, what should I do?
