I was trying to follow the opencore guide on dortania, but I ran into a problem while trying to patch the embedded controller. I tried to search for PNP0C09 on the dsdt, but there no PNP0C09 showed up. I then followed the edge case instructions which indicated that: You'll still want to find the PCI and LPC pathing for this device. So follow the guide as if you were creating a laptop SSDT-EC. I presume that meant looking for the pathing via device manager, but I couldn't find the embedded controller device either in device manager (below) Does this mean that I have to used the prebuilt version? Or is the embedded controller known as something else on my computer? [link] [comments] |
