Brightness Controls [HP Spectre x360 i7-6500u]

Hi, I pretty much finished my mojave build on an HP Spectre x360 2016 (i7-6500u, Intel Graphics 520, 4k touchscreen).

I posted earlier this week about a few problems and I'm happy to say that all were resolved except for one (I know that sleep probably won't work so I'm not even trying to fix this): Brightness Controls...

I did everything I was supposed to do (i.e. intelBacklight.kext, AppleBacklightFixup.kext and edited my dsdt to be able to use the hotkeys), but I can only lower the brightness using hotkeys.

I was wondering if someone knew how I could go about trying and fixing the issue (it's annoying, but manageable) and if it had anything to do with the AppleBackLightInjector.kext.
