I keep getting the spinning beach ball of death in Chrome, and in the new Edge. Yes, I tried turning off hardware acceleration, and it didn't help at all.

I didn't make any changes to my computer, then all of the sudden Chrome decided not work work for me.

My specs are:

• i5-6500
• 32GB RAM
• GA-Z170X-UD5
• Vega 56 with the integrated graphics disabled in the UEFI

Sadly, changing the SMBIOS didn't help either.

I am currently using Opera with hardware acceleration (because I was able to add all of my Chrome extensions), and so far it's holding.
