Hackintosh Freezes: entire network down OR when second thunderbolt device

Hi Everyone,

My hackintosh has randomly been freezing since I built it last year. I've learned to just live with it, despite being very annoying. I've noticed a couple of things about the freezes:

1) Sometimes the freezes bring my entire network down. My other computers and devices can't get an ip from the router. I can't ping my router. Obviously no internet. If I hard shtudown the hackintosh, things seem to go back to normal. Note that not all freezes bring the network down, only some.

2) I notice more freezes when I have a second thunderbolt device connected, specifically my uad octo satellite.

Any ideas on this? I'm at a loss. Seems like ethernet and thunderbolt can stand for some improvement in my setup.

Thanks,

Jas
