Conflicting information on Gigabyte motherboards

Hi everyone,

I'm planning out my threadripper hackintosh build at the moment and while looking for a motherboard it seems that theres some conflicting info about Gigabyte. In the Anti-Buyers build guide it says to avoid Gigabyte due to "Weird Memory Layout, requires KASLR fix" but a lot of builds here use Gigabyte boards and so do a lot of others i'm seeing on youtube and other places. Is the build guide outdated? Right now i'm looking at a Gigabyte X399 AOROUS Pro board for my build. Is this going to cause any headaches?
