Static/Crackling Noise When Playing Audio - MacOS 10.14.6

Today I successfully booted my Hackintosh for the first time and to my surprise everything seemed to be functional! Well, almost everything.

I am encountering an issue with audio playback. My audio outputs are being recognized and I can hear audio through HDMI and headphone jack, however when playing through HDMI (or anything other than the headphone jack) there is extreme amount of crackling and static noise. Oddly, when I move my mouse it improves. When headphones are connected audio sounds nearly perfect, with way less interruption. I've tried a USB sound card and the problem is still there.

I've searched this subreddit and other forums and can see this issue happens to others but I haven't been able to find a fix yet.

My guess is that this has something to due with the CPU usage as the audio seems to crackle more when doing other tasks. Possible fix could be a BIOS setting?

Ryzen 3 3200
