Bitsa Hackintosh Attempt Need Help

Hi everyone,

I have a D5400XS AAD94664-501motherboard with 2 x Core 2 Extreme CPU X9775 @ 3.20GHz CPUs and am trying to put a version of Mac OS on it, but it's putting up a lot of resistance. My GPU is an nVidia Quadro K600.

The motherboard apparently will boot to UEFI as an option and this is selected.

I've disabled C1E and XD Technology, Intel VT and Intel VT for Direct I/O (VT-d) are still enabled.

When I try a vanilla standard Clover install, whether it's via a USB stick, or a USB HDD that I attach internally, I get no Mac OS, no Clover windows, nothing. I set that disk as the first boot option, but it seems to just not see it. I've tried High Sierra, Mojave, with Clover r5107, just selecting the standard install options. I tried selecting MacPro 5,3 but that didn't make a difference.

The system boots into Ubuntu 18.x perfectly well, Windows 7 too.

Ideally, I'd like to run Mojave, but High Sierra would also be ok for me. BIOS version is XS54010J.86A.1175.2008.1121.1010 dated 21st Nov 2008. I have a MacBook Pro Mid-2014 running Mojave that I can use to make the boot loader.

If someone could please give me some clues, I'd really appreciate it.

Particularly want to know -

a) What's the most current version of Mac OS I can expect to run on this hardware?

b) Which bootloader do you think I should use? I'm comfortable with Clover, but I'm not sure which version of this I need to use which would be appropriate for the Mac OS version that would be compatible with this hardware.

c) Which hardware profile I should be choosing in the SMBIOS that would be most compatible.

d) BIOS settings I should watch out for.

Many thanks in advance to everyone who can offer any help.

MJJ
