Trouble with Fresh Catalina Install

I have an existing High Sierra install running on my Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 1.3 @ F12 legacy bios, i7 2600, GeForce GTX 760.

I purchased a new SSD drive and have downloaded and installed the Catalina install app from the AppStore as well as Clover 5102 with Kext for my board. When I run the install on the SSD it goes through the install process and reboots twice. Then I get an error message telling me that a disk with a mount point is required. : (69854) quit installed to restart your computer and try again.

Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong to cause this? And what I need to do to fix it?
