I've pulled the old wifi/bt card out of my (dead) imac. I haven't installed macos yet because I need to edit my config.plist so for now i'm using win 10. It's this type of card.
I tried to install the wifi card into my m.2 wifi slot, but when I boot into windows it eats all my network connections and I can't connect to the ethernet when the card is in my mobo??. I tried to extract drivers from bootcamp, but that didn't work.
Should I install macos first and come back to setting this up later? Or are there drivers floating around for windows that I'm not aware of? (Google's main suggestion was to extract from bootcamp)
If there's no windows support am I better off buying a pcie card and selling this one??
Otherwise my build is going well!
