Perhaps this is a silly question, but I've seen at least 4 threads on the first page where everyone suggests getting a DW1560 wireless card for a hackintosh laptop. I don't quite get why though - I understand they are supported with some patches and kexts, but why not just get an Apple BCM94360cs2 for less than $10 on eBay and use it with an adapter and get fully native support?
What am I missing here? is it just a fitment issue? Why would you get anything other than an Apple card plus an adapter if it fits? I'd wayyy prefer a native Apple Wifi/Bluetooth card vs. something that I have to install more kexts for.
Not trying to flame, just genuinely confused.
